My vote is not for sale

Dear Elon,

I must turn down your kind offer of a million dollar bribe to vote for the former president in this election.  My vote is not for sale. I realize that you are resorting to paying off voters because you know deep down that your candidate’s platform is a losing proposition.  How can one vote for a candidate  who embraces the great replacement theory? You, as a white South African male raised under apartheid until you were 17 can probably relate, but the rest of us? No thank you. Mass deportations? Bad genes? Tariffs on everything? Military response to political opponents? Hitler’s generals? Can you say fascism? Sowing division, promoting hatred, raising the cost of everything we buy is not the way to make America great again. No wonder you believe the only way to win this election is to buy  votes. Your ploy is morally bankrupt, and a flagrant waste of money that could be of benefit elsewhere - like hurricane relief à la Dolly Parton and Taylor Swift -  but what’s in that for you? Transactional is your motto, lining your own pockets is your goal. So no, I decline your offer. My vote is more precious than rubies, it is priceless. I will vote to keep democracy. I will vote for the Constitution. I will vote for my freedom to choose.  I will not vote for Trump, no matter your financial blandishments.  My vote is not for sale.

Sincerely,

Me

Why am I voting for Kamala Harris?

Donald McTrump, go away!
